Single Premium Deferred Fixed Annuity

Future Income Plus Annuity can help you prepare for retirement by earning a guaranteed interest rate to help preserve and protect a portion of your retirement assets from market risk.

How does Future
Income Plus work?

You can purchase Future Income Plus from State Farm Life Insurance Company or State Farm Life and Accident Assurance company (Residents of NY and WI only) with one lump sum premium payment — often coming from an IRA or 401(k) rollover, a maturing CD, inheritance or life insurance payout, or proceeds from the sale of a business. Your single payment will grow tax deferred and at a guaranteed interest rate for a specified period of time that you choose.

At the end of each guarantee period, you have a 30-day window to choose another guarantee period from those available. A higher interest rate may be available for larger accumulation values at renewal.

Annuities are designed to provide retirement income, but life happens. You can withdraw up to 10% of the initial premium in the first year, or 10% of the accumulated value thereafter on an annual basis without incurring a surrender charge.1 You’ll also have the option to convert the accumulate value of your annuity into guaranteed income to supplement your retirement.

Tax Deferral

Generally, interest is not subject to federal income tax until it is received, allowing the annuity accumulation value to grow larger than would be possible if interest were taxed as it is earned.

Accumulation

You can allow your annuity to keep growing until you choose to begin receiving payments. You can even wait until you are 95 (age 90 in NY) or 10 years from your age when the annuity is issued, whichever is later. 2
